Rayna has left the Lithuanian warzone behind but not her troubles.
Rayne has left the frigid landscapes and gang wars of Lithuania for the warm sun and relative peace of North Africa. But trouble follows her whereever she goes, and she soon finds herself mired in a would-be coups d'etat of one of the most notoriuos pirate organizations in the world.
She soon barters an agreement with the beleagured pirate prince, but her problems soon multiply when a mysterious hunter starts dogging her steps, a hunter whose financing is only exceeded by his skill and intimate understanding of Rayne.
As the picture of this hunger gets clearer, so does a whole new threat that turns out to be much older than expected and Rayna will be forced to a new crossroads where she must decide who she wants to be for the rest of her life, however long that might be.
